Vignes des Andes is a 136-hectare domaine located at the bottom of the Andes Mountains, in Alto Agrelo, one of the best wine-growing regions in the province of Mendoza, with a temperate, dry and very sunny climate (more than 320 days a year).
The domain is located at an altitude of 1050 metres, in an excellent area for the development of high quality vines, olive trees and fruit trees. The soil of the estate is alluvial with deep sandy texture and some clay and silt.
The terroir has sand and some gravel on the surface, the proportion of which increases with depth to about 50cm, giving excellent drainage. Then comes the clay.
The climate is temperate continental, with an average rainfall of around 200 mm per year, making organic viticulture practically possible.
